Carbosands has developed a very simple Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) technology for brines of geothermal energy and the oil and gas industry.

The CARBOSANDS DLE concept: A granular sorbent is used for lithium adsorption. The desorption is simply done by using fresh water.  The extraction units require very little infrastructure at the well. In the best case, part of the buffer pond can be used. We have applied for a patent for the extraction process.

In this way, a large number of wells in the production area can be equipped with CARBOSANDS DLE systems with little capital expenditures and the DLE systems can be operated with low operating costs. The extraction can be offered as a turnkey service. It increases the sustainability and profitability of your on-site operations. Contact
